What You’ll Do

As a Medical Office Specialist, you’ll support daily front office operations and ensure a smooth, welcoming experience for every patient.

· Answer and manage incoming phone calls as needed

· Schedule appointments accurately and efficiently

· Verify and update patient information in the medical record

· Collect co-pays and patient payments

· Assist patients with payment plan processes

· Coordinate communication between patients and clinical staff

· Support billing and administrative workflows

· Help maintain an organized and positive front office environment

What We’re Looking For

Required Qualifications:

· High School Diploma or equivalent

· Strong computer and data entry skills

· Excellent communication and customer service skills

· Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities

· Ability to multitask while maintaining professionalism and accuracy

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications:

· Experience working in a medical office, clinic, dental office, hospital, banking, retail, hospitality, or customer service setting

· Familiarity with medical terminology or insurance processes

· Experience working with diverse populations and fast-paced environments

· Fluent in English and Spanish

Physical Requirements

· Ability to sit or stand for extended periods

· Occasional bending, lifting, and reaching (up to 35 lbs)

· Manual dexterity for operating office equipment (computer, phone, copier)

· Adequate vision and hearing to perform job duties
